If you enter your email in a subscribe form, it is sent directly to Substack, which runs our newsletter at https://africavsfuture.substack.com/. Substack's own privacy policy and terms then apply. We receive your subscription through Substack.

Embedded audio

Podcast players stream audio from SoundCloud's servers only when you press play.

Links to other platforms

Links to Substack, Medium, SoundCloud, Bluesky, Mastodon, X, Instagram and TikTok include campaign parameters (UTM tags). These tell us which page a visit came from. They contain no personal data.
